I am a wife, mother, award-winning children's book author & educator. I've had the pleasure of homeschooling for 17 years and counting.

When 2020 hit, my children's education was uninterrupted but, for many, this was not the case. I received repeated calls for assistance from parents wanting my help to educate their children. After things "settled down" a bit, I thought to myself, "How can I be of further assistance to parents?", and then Sunschool was "born".

As a mother, I know and understand that our children are the future. So it is imperative that they are taught the power of their choices through the understanding of knowledge of self.

Will you be doing the teaching?

Yes. These classes are pre-recorded so I will be doing the teaching. However, I will be modeling for you HOW to repeat what I'm doing in order to know and understand what your child is being taught, so that you may follow up with them to further their comprehension, retention, and application of new knowledge gained.

Do I have to buy any extra supplies?

No. Our curriculum is designed to be hands-on and self-contained within our preschool class each day so you don't have to buy any additional supplies. Although, I will be recommending or sharing learning tools that are beneficial for the child to have access to, which the parent may want to purchase. It would be helpful for you already to have at least have a printer, ink and printer papers so you can print out the downloadable worksheets.

Are the online classes easy to access?

Yes. You can access our online classes at our online learning platform on any device where you have internet. No need to download any software!

Is there a learning pace that my child has to keep up with?

No. These lessons are self-paced. No worries. No stress. Parents play a pivotal role in their child's education. While our teacher provides valuable insights and models effective teaching methods, it's up to parents to ensure consistent practice. How much does it cost for my child to attend Sunschool Pre-K?

There is no cost for your child to attend if they apply for a scholarship. I have decided to be the change I want to see in the world. I have a gift for teaching and I know there are many parents who could use assistance with teaching their little ones. I'm tired of reading articles about "black" children being left behind academically and "black" children being moved through grade levels without knowing how to read. This has got to end.
